Easy Avocado Spread

This wholesome and nutritious avocado spread is so creamy and delicious! It comes together in just 5 minutes and tastes amazing on toast, in sandwiches or as a dip with tortilla chips or veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado 160g avocado flesh
  • 1 tablespoon tahini 16g
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or more, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the avocado flesh in a bowl and mash well with a fork.
  • Stir through the tahini, lemon, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Or, add all the ingredients to a small blender and blend until smooth.

Notes

3.1g net carbs per portion. Makes 2 portions (a generous ¼ cup each).
Store in a bowl covered with clingfilm touching the spread, so there are no air pockets. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
