Cut the carton into a rectangle and fold in half. Check the size - it should cover the sides of the egg
Make a hard boiled egg. I cooked mine for 9 minutes.
Peel your egg while it is still hot and place it in the folded carton.
Place a chopstick or a skewer on the middle of the egg and press down.
Secure the ends with rubber bands.
Leave to cool.
After 10 minutes remove the egg and cut in half.
